Power Proofreading is a cute little animation where kids are asked to proofread texts to find errors. It’s really nothing earth shattering, but it is a good way to get some practice with a lot of different grammar skills. You can choose from grade level 2 to 8 and there are 20-30 short passages to proof per grade. Some practice one certain skill, like plural formation, and others are mixed. It’s part of the Kid’s Place site from Houghton Mifflin. There are some great little games hidden in there, but you have to wade through a lot of other stuff to find them. I’ll let you know when I find more good stuff. Power Proofreading is made for grades 2-8 and it’s free.
